What's Included in This Printable Resource
This play dough mat includes numerous different ways for a student to engage with each sight word:
- Build: build finger strength and motor skills by using dough to roll out and spell each sight word.
- Trace: two versions are included, 1) tracing line that is within the word for a child to see visually and 2) tracing line on a writing line for the child to remember proper letter height and placement.
- Write: two means are included, 1) within blank boxes for the child to fill in the letter at proper height and placement and 2) within primary writing lines for the child to write on.
- Read: each set uses the same list of 10 words, which are mixed in different orders on each individual mat.
- Find letters: Color, dab, or cover the letters that are found in the sight word.
